Another New Year . . .
Well 2010 has closed it's doors and 2011 has started. As it always seems in my life, So far in the month of January nothing seems to be different. I work, sell Mary Kay and come home. Once at home I usually sit around watching tv, movies or reading a book. I fall asleep and wake up the next day only to do the exact . . . same . . . thing. I'm really tired of being in this rut of boredom but I'm not sure how to get back out. It's hard for me because 99% of my friends are all out of state which makes visiting almost impossible. The other 1% seem unattached, to much time has passed between all the times we would spend together and now we seem distant. Sigh. Hopefully I will get out of this rut and change my life for the better in 2011. I will be working on going to grad school (so keep your fingers crossed that I get in somewhere) and preparing to start another adventure (hopefully) soon. Until next time . . . keep it real!

"Wrapping up" December. . .
Hey y'all,
So obviously it's been a while since I have been on here and thought I would share with you some goings on in my life. . . . . . November has passed and with it Bridger's 5th birthday, Logan and Mom's birthday and Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving this year was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Packers house, not much left during that month. December started and I was keeping busy with Mary Kay and Center PSR. Mary Kay finished up a quarter on Dec 15th and I was a star consultant (meaning I sold X amount in product before the quarter ended) so our directors treated all the stars to a yummy lunch at red lobster and we went to the Christmas Angels concert afterwards. It was such a fun day. Later that night I went to Sizzlers for my Center PSR christmas party and oh man that was some good eatin'. I have not really been up to much, just work, work, work and just in case I get board, work. I am really starting to get heavy into the grad school research again so wish me luck. I will probably be taking the GRE's sometime this year. Chances are high that I will take it twice, just in case the first shot is a crapshoot. I am not a good test taker so please if you have taken it, I need all the study tips I can get. I will let you know as time comes which schools I have or will be applying to. Wish me luck that I get in at least somewhere. Until next time. . . Keep it real!

Changes for the better . . .
So in case you have not heard the news by now, I added yet one more thing to my ever growing to do list. I now work as an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. This is something that I have been wanting to do for about the last 3 years but I never had time to do it because of school. Well I finally just jumped in with both feet. I realize now that it means that I am going to be even busier than I have been (but really what else is new) but so far I am really enjoying it. For those of you who live far away and check this blog regularly I also have a Mary Kay website that you can order from (www.marykay.com/nemecham) or you can give me a call and we can chat about your wants with this fabulous product. As Christmas approaches it is time to announce all of the wonderful things I can do to make your holidays that much brighter. Call me and we can hook you (or your santa) up with some GREAT gifts ideas. I will be posting some ideas up with instructions, cost, and photo as they become available (aka as I get the time to make sure I have the things I need to put them together.) I better get going, lots to do and little time to do it in. Until next time . . . keep it real!

Wake me up when September ends
Well here we are, 10 days into the month of September. As I always see in my life nothing much has changed since my last post. I now have 6 full time clients so I am working much more but other than that . . . not much. I entered a watch band that I made in a contest for a local Blackfoot business and won so that exciting. I won $25 of in-store credit. I will have to send in another one I suppose, although if they did do the second week of month I just realized that I missed it. Oh well there is always October. My sister just signed up to be a Premier Jewelry Consultant which means that she goes around and does party's (like Mary-kay Makeup) and she talks about and sells Jewelry. They have really nice stuff and it's something that she enjoys. She will be having her first show on September 23rd, so I have been helping her out with her house. My Nephew started school on the 8th of this month (he is in pre-school) and it is really crazy to think about. He seems to like it so far. I also started dancing again (formally that is) on the 8th of this month. I now dance for Rhythm 'n' Sole Dance studio in Pocatello. We only meet once a week so I have only gone once. We will have two competitions (one in Pocatello in March and one at Lagoon in May) and a final recital (I think that is in May or June) I will have to let you guys know. I am really excited to be dancing again, the dance we are learning now is pretty cool and all I know is the first 3 sets of 8 counts. I will have to let you know how that goes. I better get going, I have to get ready for work now (plus it's payday so that is always my favorite day.) Until next time. . . keep it real!

Long days ahead.
So today was yet another busy day in my boring life. As most of you know, my Mom owns a wedding decorating business and since it is wedding season, I get the honor of helping out on weddings as part of my "free rent" thing at home. Today (well technically yesterday since it is now 1:30 a.m. on Sunday) after falling asleep at around 3 on Saturday morning, I woke up and was helping Mom by 7:00. As time passed on, the heat rose and and muggy air was hanging and I was tired and dehydreated and hot. We finally got out of there around 12:30 and came home for a break, where I discovered that I had really got a bad sunburn on my face (and sadly I had just barely gotten rid of the last sunburned face about a week ago.) After taking a nice lunch break (who knew that salad could be so good) I went to go sit on the couch for a few seconds. I remember hearing my Dad leave back to work and the next thing I knew I was waking up. Keep in mind that a total of almost 4 hours had past. Perhaps this is the reason that I am awake at almost 2 in the morning. I have a tendency to get very very ill, and incredibly tired when I am in the sun for long periods of time. Bad combo, especially since we had NOTHING to drink the entire time we were setting up. We went to break the wedding down around 9:00 and got attacked by these crazy killer bugs that were layers thick and of course we did not have any bug spray at all. SUCK! Finally about 10:30 we were packing up the last of the mess and leaving towards home (which was only about a mile away, convienient. . . I believe so.) SO the moral of the story is, I am tired, sunburned and covered in bug bites but another day has come and gone with no exciting plans for tomorrow (or. . . today I suppose.) Well I am going to try to get some sleep so wish me luck. Until then . . . keep it real!

My first official "Real World" job . . .
So just in case you have not heard by now, I was lucky enough to land a job that I can actually use my degree in right after graduation. I work as a PSR specialist for a company called Center Counseling in Chubbuck, which is about 30 miles away from home. PSR stands for Psychosocial Rehabilitation, basically one-on-one, skills based training in the following areas: Psychiatric Symptom Management, Health/Medical, Vocational/Educational, Social/Interpersonal, Family, Housing, Basic Living Skills, and Community/Legal. The goal of PSR is to teach individuals who struggle with mental health issues things they can do to maintain their maximum level of independence. I currently have 4 full time clients that I work 5 hours a week per client with. The paper work keeps me busy while I am not actually working with clients. Well that is all I can really think about for now, my brain officially stopped working about an hour ago so I am going to go to bed now. I will post more a little bit later. . . this week. Until next time . . . keep it real!

April is almost gone . . .
And I have not posted ANYTHING! LAZY! Well this one will be short because it is now 2:00 in the morning. I have just finished my final project for one of my classes. I will have to get up in a few short hours to study for the test I have in that class tomorrow. Well as of today the graduation countdown is on day 18 (keep in mind that is including weekends).
Something great happened over the weekend, I was offered a job as a rehab counselor in chubbuck for Center Counseling. I will start sometime after graduation, this means that I can move home after all. I am VERY excited about that. So far the plan is to just chill at home until I start work. I will be using that time to make jewelry for commission and just for fun. I will also be painting the room I will be staying in at my parents house.
A couple of weeks ago I bought myself a dog for graduation. He is a 2 year old beagle named Scooter. My parents are watching him for me until I move home. He is a handful but he is a cutie. I will post my next April blog sometime next week. I am going to bed now.
Until next time . . . keep it real!
